Job Title: Materials Controller
Project: CNOOC
Location: SCOTT
Duration: 4 TRIPS

Rate: £29.75PH + Holidays
Worley is currently recruiting for a Materials Controller for a fixed term contract. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our offshore team on the Scott.
Key Aims And Objectives
1. Efficient and effective control of all materials to suit project requirements;
2. Management of all materials in accordance with relevant Company policies, procedures and project schedules
Role Requirements
1. Work with Expediting function and suppliers to ensure safe and timely delivery including issue of Material Movement Tickets (MMT’s)
2. Provide Forward Schedule Analysis (FSA) reports to all project team
3. Liaison with planning and construction to ensure material availability against Work Pack/Job Card
4. Co-ordination of third party inspection requirements (e.g. rental plant and equipment)
5. Verification, inspection (as required) and receipt of all project material
6. Allocation of bin location and storage of project materials and update of systems accordingly
7. Ensure all materials are clearly labelled with PO number, Client Ref number and quantity
8. Liaison with logistics personnel to ensure timely shipment of materials
Qualifications
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:
* Dangerous Good by Sea and Air
* Level 1 Rigging
* BOSIET/EBS/MIST
* Approved Offshore Medical
Ideally, Candidates Will Also Have The Following Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Good working knowledge of material systems, process controls, warehousing and logistics within the oil and gas industry
* Good knowledge of legislative requirements for materials management
* Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules
* Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly
* Ability to identify oil and gas project materials and equipment
* Experience in the handling, storing and preservation of oil and gas projects materials and equipment
* Demonstrate good excel spreadsheet data manipulation
