Assistant Primary School Recreational Gymnastics Coach – BLANDFORD ST MARY

About the Role
Active School Organisation is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Gymnastics Coach to support our after-school club at Blandford St Mary Primary School.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about sport, child development, or youth coaching. Full training is provided, so prior coaching experience is helpful but not essential.
Schedule
Fridays – 3.15pm to 4.25pm (1-hour club + set up/pack down)
Start date: January 2026
Pay: £15 per session
Term time only
Key Duties
Support the Lead Coach in delivering safe, fun, engaging gymnastics activities.
Help children develop balance, coordination, flexibility, and confidence.
Assist with set-up, pack-down, and equipment management.
Maintain safeguarding standards and positive behaviour management.
Represent Active School positively within the school.
Requirements
Experience working with children preferred but not essential.
DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding desirable (training provided if needed).
Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident supporting groups of children.
Ability to travel to Blandford St Mary Primary School.
