Job Description:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher to deliver high-quality education and care to young learners. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons.
* Supporting individual and small group learning activities.
* Helping to maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
* Providing one-on-one support for pupils with special educational needs.
* Contributing to the overall welfare and development of the children.
* Engaging with parents and carers to provide updates on pupil progress.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A genuine passion for working with children in a primary school setting.
* Experience working with KS1 pupils is highly desirable.
* A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* An understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
