Job Title: Religious Education (RE) Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65)
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time, Long Term/Day-to-day

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Rotherham (S65). This role is perfect for someone who can engage students in meaningful discussions, promote understanding of diverse beliefs, and foster respect and empathy through the study of religion.
Key Responsibilities of the RE Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess stimulating RE lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue around religious and ethical topics.
* Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment for open discussion.
* Support students in developing their understanding of world religions and moral issues.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the RE curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning.
Requirements for the RE Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire thoughtful engagement.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
