One of our Principal firms that introduce to Just Mortgages are looking for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisor to be based in York or surrounding area. This role is self employed, fully flexible and remote, but the business owner would like to opportunity to occasionally meet up to support, so being commutable into York is desirable.

Expectations
As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser you can expect to:-
8. Follow up leads from potential customers to convert into sales
9. Source leads proactively from all available routes
10. Recommend the most suitable product to suit the customer's needs, priorities and circumstances within a regulatory environment
11. Assess customer affordability in order to lend responsibly and in line with regulations
12. Achieve set individual targets in a variety of areas and contribute towards the overall performance of the team
13. Ensure market knowledge is continuously developed and maintained
14. Build and forecast a pipeline with accuracy on completion
15. Demonstrate continuous improvement in terms of conversions
Qualifying Criteria
To be a successful Mortgage and Protection Adviser you will need to:-
16. Hold Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practise (CeMAP) or alternative
17. Experience within the mortgage brokerage market
18. Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role
19. Be proactive and self-motivated, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
20. An excellent understanding of the mortgage market, products and services
21. Confident in presenting
22. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to overcome challenges
23. Experience of Financial Services sales and understanding of compliance regulations
24. A passion for achieving a fantastic customer experience.
