There has never been a better time to join Lostock High School. Our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating recognises our determination that Lostock High will continue to develop as a popular school of choice for our community. We pride ourselves on engaging pupils, making learning exciting and rewarding, and on our tenacity. You will join a strong team of individuals who are committed to improving life chances for young people, and who believe in preparing pupils not just for exams, but for life.

We want all of our students to achieve their potential and we make sure that there are no limitations or barriers to reaching the highest possible standards of academic, social and personal development.

We seek to appoint a creative and committed Art and Design Technology Technician to ensure that materials, equipment, and resources are prepared and maintained to the highest standards, supporting both staff and students in creating a vibrant, safe, and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for commitment to improving life chances for young people, as well as commitment to your own professional development. You will be well supported by the Head of Technology as well as the Senior Leadership Team who are focused on teaching and learning, and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met. Our school is a lively and exciting place to work. We truly live by our motto of Inspire, Transform, Succeed.

We are totally dedicated to providing the very best opportunities for our students to ensure that we inspire confidence, transform learning and succeed to compete with the best. If you think Lostock High School is the right school for you, please visit our website to download an application form.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer overseas visa sponsorship.

We welcome the opportunity to show prospective candidates around our school ahead of application. If you would like to arrange a time to visit us, please contact the Sarah Buckley (Headteacher’s PA) on 0161 864 5709/ [emailprotected]

To allow us to compare candidates fairly, applications will only be considered from individual applicants on our standard application form or via the TES website, not via CV alone or agencies.

Lostock High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1074 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
