Job Description:

As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer in Construction to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing setting out and engineering controls duties on various sites ensuring work is carried out to the required quality standards. Responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing and interpreting construction plans, designs, and specifications, and ensuring that they are followed.
* Understanding and ability to model Earthworks finding optimal project solutions.
* Setting out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis - roads, drains, plots, and foundations
* Undertaking topographical and ‘as built’ surveys
* Maintaining up to date site diaries, supported with photographic evidence where required
* Ensuring that quality control requirements are met and recorded
* Conducting site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Providing engineering support to ensure any technical problems are overcome
* Operating to and promoting a high standard of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
* Working closely with the site team to ensure timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects
Applicants should have substantial site experience in a similar role supported by a HNC or equivalent in Construction and Civil Engineering. You will possess a sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and the use of project management software. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication leadership, and problem-solving skills.
