Job Description Summary
In this role you will be a Material Planner within the Materials Organisation, responsible for accurate and efficient material throughput supporting manufacturing cells, engineering, and external customers. The role emphasizes world‑class standards of material flow, storage, accuracy, quality, and kitting in readiness for program ramp‑ups and integration.
Essential Responsibilities
* Plan and execute material throughput to support manufacturing cells, engineering and external customers.
* Ensure world‑class standards for material flow, storage, accuracy, quality and kitting for program ramp‑ups and integration.
* Execute the Production Plan and manage work‑order launches with effective material presentation and control.
* Review material position and collaborate with supply‑chain to deliver in line with customer requirements.
* Apply problem‑solving skills to resolve cell queries and provide swift resolutions.
* Assist coaches and leadership with process improvements to develop local team and wider workshop performance.
* Support leadership on initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns, reduce manufacturing losses and develop world‑class material presentation.
* Deliver on personal goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost as agreed with leadership.
Role Summary / Purpose
Attend daily operating rhythms to ensure cell material position clarity, use planning methods to execute in line with the Production Plan, review material position and drive supply‑chain to deliver in line with customer requirements, and apply problem‑solving skills to overcome cell queries.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Experienced in the use of ERP/MRP planning systems.
* Baseline Personnel Security (BPSS) clearance required and must be maintained.
