What you’ll be doing This is a Group Management Accounts role where you’ll manage and mentor the Assistant Accountant while overseeing core finance processes, including: Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Payroll and tax pack reviews Budgeting and forecasting with department heads Supporting year-end audit and reporting requirements Ad-hoc analysis and being a visible, collaborative member of the Group Finance team What we’re looking for A part qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or QBE accountant with solid management accounts experience Previous year-end exposure and confidence handling balance sheet reconciliations Someone comfortable managing and developing junior finance staff A proactive, hands-on style – able to get into the detail as well as see the bigger picture Salary: c£45,000 - £50,000 benefits Contract: 12 months (FTC) Location: South Yorkshire / North Derbyshire Most fixed-term contracts can feel soul-less.
