Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Advisor to lead and enhance our HR operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and overseeing the full recruitment cycle — from advertising through to onboarding — while delivering a seamless and positive candidate experience. This role demands strong leadership, excellent people management skills, and a genuine commitment to nurturing a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Principal responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to employees on policies, procedures, and HR-related queries.
* Support employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring fairness and consistency.
* Attract, source, and select the right talent, coordinating the full recruitment cycle from job adverts and interviews through to onboarding.
* Implement and maintain a structured onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new starters.
* Set and communicate clear expectations that align individual performance with organisational goals.
* Promote safe working practices and a positive workplace culture built on trust, fairness, and engagement.
* Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records.
* Ensure strict compliance with employment law, right to work requirements, and sector-specific regulations, particularly within healthcare.
* Recommend and implement improvements to HR processes to enhance operational efficiency.
* Align HR practices with overall business strategy to support organisational success.
* Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including training programmes, coaching, and growth pathways, to build staff capacity.
* Foster continuous development and career progression opportunities for employees.
Essential Requirement
* Flexible in terms of availability, working hours, adaptability
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role (health care sector experience most desirable)
* Good knowledge of UK employment laws and best practice.
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
* Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with HR systems

Pay: £27,100.00-£33,400.00 per year
