This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to patients, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring the wellbeing of those we serve. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 33–44 hours per week (day and night shifts available)

Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.


Key Duties

* Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support with mobility and safe moving & handling.
* Monitor residents’ condition and report any concerns to senior staff.
* Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
* Provide companionship and emotional support.
* Work closely with the care team to deliver high-quality care.


What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a UK care home (minimum 6–12 months preferred).
* A caring, patient, and compassionate attitude.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to follow care plans and work independently when required.
* Basic English and IT skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Health & Social Care) are advantageous but not essential.
