Job Description
The role is responsible for leading one or more stages during the off-net access delivery cycle, including identifying partners, assessing access feasibility, delivery, account settlement, supplier management, and service experience improvement. The objective is to ensure timely and successful off-net quoting and delivery at optimal costs. This tactical role contributes to defining the operational plans aligned with business strategy, impacting the business unit's overall results in the mid-term.
Responsibilities
1. Identify national and regional access suppliers/partners and competition to deliver last mile connectivity.
2. Lead discussions and initial negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners regarding contractual capabilities.
3. Maintain strong relationships with access suppliers to enhance efficiency and reduce delivery costs.
4. Explore opportunities to increase business with key vendors through new portfolios and order types.
5. Collaborate with product teams to develop new technology solutions with partners.
6. Design effective off-net access solutions considering route maps, power and path diversity, tailored to local market needs.
7. Support sales and cross-functional teams in negotiations with partners for special pricing, non-standard offerings, or expedited delivery to enhance win rates.
8. Finalize and renew vendor contracts for maintenance and installation of network components.
9. Conduct regular performance reviews with key suppliers covering pre-sales, feasibility, cost, delivery, and post-sales support.
10. Contribute to jeopardy and contingency planning to meet delivery timelines.
11. Experience in telecommunications, especially in managing telco partners.
