As an Employment Advisor, you will work directly with a caseload of customers to help them overcome barriers to employment, providing vital support to help transform their lives. You will motivate and empower individuals, equipping them with skills and confidence for secure and sustained employment. Developing strong relationships, you will encourage, motivate, and challenge your customers to fulfill their potential while meeting your own targets.
Salary Range:
* Non-London: £26,700 - £29,800
* London: £29,400 - £32,600
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators.
2. Manage a caseload of customers, using coaching strategies to prepare them for interviews and job searching.
3. Conduct in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances and barriers.
4. Co-produce personalized SMART action plans with sequenced interventions.
5. Utilize local specialist services to address specific issues (e.g., substance misuse, health, debt advice).
6. Identify employer recruitment needs and conduct tailored pre-screens and assessments.
7. Develop in-work support plans with participants and employers.
8. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies on data security, safeguarding, and health & safety.
10. Work from local hubs and community outreach locations to increase accessibility.
11. Maintain a customer-focused approach and demonstrate excellent customer care.
12. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, showing flexibility and a positive attitude.
13. Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
14. Experience delivering services meeting contractual and quality standards.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, Google tools, and digital technologies.
16. Strong communication skills, including listening, questioning, and relationship-building.
17. Creative problem-solving skills and a positive approach to overcoming barriers.
18. Ability to plan and organize workload to meet targets and deadlines.
19. Experience in Welfare to Work sector, employability industry, or recruitment is desirable.
