Area Support Engineer - Midlands
Salary: £52,000 Base, 65K OTE | Permanent
We are seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across THE UK
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, food, plastics, pharmeceutical, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in distribution or recycling is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
The role will require you to travel to customer sites accross the coountry carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on an array of automated machinery. The base salary is for your core hours but the nature of the role will require you to work overtime on a regularlar basis as the company ethos is set around your day is done when your work is done, with this is mind your realistic OTE will be around £65k, all travel and expenses are also paid for. This is a high level role within an extremely reputable company that can offer unlimited progression through several different department routes. Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Area support Engineer
Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Area Support Engineer.
Previous experience working as a Maintenance or service Engineer in the UK.
Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
