Senior Maintenance Worker (Team Leader)
Salary: £25,000 - 30,000
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Purpose of the Job
The post holder will perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings/grounds on site. The post holder will participate in the mandatory on-call Facilities rota system.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plastering, basic building work, joinery, decorating work
* Installation of appliances and equipment (e.g., washing machines, fridges)
* Conduct repairs to equipment and building infrastructure
* Manage sewage, drainage, and grounds work
* Ensure rooms are prepared efficiently for new admissions
* Assist with purchasing materials and maintain records
* Support furniture deliveries and installations
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* City & Guilds III / NVQ level 3 in Building Maintenance or equivalent
* CSR card holder or willingness to attain within 4 months
* Copy of certificate/licence and photographic evidence of work
* Full Driver's license
Experience and Skills
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance/building trade
* Ability to plan and prioritize maintenance tasks
* Effective working individually and in a team
* Strong understanding of plumbing systems and biomass boilers
* Skills in tiling, grouting, plastering, bricklaying, plumbing, carpentry
* Ability to manage documentation and records
