Grwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai, and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor. It employs 2,000 staff and delivers courses to around 21,000 students, including over 1,500 higher education students, across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, and Gwynedd.
The Grwp aims to support the economy of North Wales by equipping local people with the skills and qualifications needed to ensure the region's competitiveness and success. Job Purpose
Learning Support Coordinator, Term Time
To coordinate the General Learning Provision and Additional Learning Support (ALN) for the ALN team for identified learners. This involves working closely with tutors, the college nurse, examination team, managers, and external agencies as appropriate. The Learning Support Coordinator will also oversee the study centre support provision available on the designated campuses.
Impartial, person-centred support is crucial, in cooperation with teaching staff, personal tutors, and external agencies.
Working Hours and Benefits
* Weekly hours: 37 hours per week
* Weeks per year: 42 weeks
* Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (01 September to 31 August), all public holidays observed, up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum (determined annually). Term-time contracts will receive a pro-rata entitlement, paid as part of the annual salary.
