Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to lead our team at Holiday Inn Express Walsall. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing staff and resources effectively. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our high standards of service and hospitality including the cleanliness, comfort and safety of the guests and staff
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily hotel maintenance of the building to ensure smooth functioning and high standards of maintenance and health and safety throughout
* Manage and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
* Implement effective paperwork and IT procedures to ensure compliance with brand procedures and fire, health and safety legislation
* Monitor financial performance to ensure cost control when purchasing and undertaking projects
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies
* Coordinate with various departments to maintain high standards of maintenance and service delivery.
* Handle guest complaints and feedback promptly to enhance overall guest experience.
Requirements
* Proven experience in management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Project management experience is highly desirable.
* Ability to maintain high standards of service under pressure.
