NXTGEN is delighted to be working with a long-standing and growing accountancy practice in Spalding to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a close-knit, supportive team in a varied and hands-on role, offering plenty of scope for development and progression. As Senior Payroll Administrator, you'll be part of a practice that has built a reputation for delivering a personal and high-quality service to its loyal and diverse client base. The firm is known for its people-first culture and prides itself on offering a genuinely collaborative and sociable working environment. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Payroll Administrator who is looking to take on more responsibility and grow within a supportive and friendly practice.
The office is sociable and welcoming, and while the team would love to have the successful Senior Payroll Administrator based on-site, they also recognise the importance of work-life balance and can offer flexibility depending on individual needs.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, covering weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
Calculate and process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
Deal with client and HMRC queries, providing timely and accurate responses
Handle payroll changes including starters, leavers, P45s, and P60s
Support with year-end reporting and submissions
Stay up to date with payroll legislation and contribute to system and process improvements
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in end-to-end payroll, gained in either industry or a bureau/practice environment
Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, legislation, and statutory requirements
Confident using payroll software
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple payrolls
Strong communication skills with a client-first approach
Proactive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
