About the Role: We are seeking a proactive, energetic, and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning services at Dingwall Academy and two nearby primary schools. In this role, a company van will be provided for travel between sites. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning teams across the academy and nearby primary schools Ensure all areas are cleaned to high standards, including offices, staircases, landings, classrooms, and toilets Carry out regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards Oversee tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning sinks, replenishing supplies, and operating cleaning machinery where required Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly Role Criteria: Proven experience in a cleaning environment Previous supervisory experience Strong attention detail and awareness of general hygiene and safety standards Ability to lead, support, and motivate teams across multiple sites Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively Comfortable in IT systems for day-to-day administration Full UK driving licence All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
