Your Role and Responsibilities
As our SENDCO, you will:
* Lead and coordinate innovative, evidence-based provisions for children with identified SEND needs.
* Advocate for our students, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
* Manage SEND provisions efficiently and effectively.
* Provide professional guidance to secure high-quality teaching for all students.
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEND objectives and targets, guiding improvements in teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status and a desire to pursue relevant SEND CPD and qualifications.
* Experience working with parents to support SEND children.
* A proven track record as an excellent classroom teacher.
* Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations related to SEND and equality.
* Experience collaborating with external agencies.
