Kennedys is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Claims Handler to join our growing Financial Lines team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and complex caseload, with a particular focus on Professional Indemnity (PI) and Cyber claims.
You will play a key role in managing claims from notification through to resolution, providing strategic input, and delivering exceptional service to clients across a broad range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a portfolio of complex insurance claims from notification through to resolution
* Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate claims in line with policy terms and regulatory requirements
* Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, and legal teams to ensure effective claims handling
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all claims
* Identify potential risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
About You
* Proven experience as a Claims Handler, with significant exposure to complex or high-value claims
* Strong knowledge of insurance principles and claims processes
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance
* Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is desirable
