About the role
The Property Compliance Coordinator supports management of all statutory building compliance, planned and reactive maintenance across SGN’s offices and depots, by prioritising and allocating work, managing compliance schedules, overseeing competent contractors, maintaining audit‑ready records, identifying and escalating risks and supporting Site Nominated Managers in meeting their duty‑holder responsibilities to keep sites fully compliant, safe and operational.
What you will contribute
* Receive, log, categorise and allocate helpdesk requests, raising work orders in line with statutory priorities and procedures
* Track all compliance and maintenance tasks through to completion, ensuring adherence to statutory frequencies, SGN standards and safety requirements
* Coordinate statutory compliance activities (e.g. fire safety, Legionella, electrical, mechanical, lifting equipment and asbestos) using competent contractors
* Review contractor reports and inspection outcomes, escalating and resolving any non‑conformances or remedial actions
* Maintain accurate, audit‑ready compliance records, asset data and statutory documentation within the property management system
* Liaise with Site Nominated Managers and support inspections, reporting and administrative activities to ensure ongoing legal compliance and operational safety
What you will need
* Strong understanding of statutory building compliance obligations, including fire safety, Legionella, electrical, mechanical, lifting operations and asbestos management
* Experience coordinating or delivering statutory inspection programmes across multiple sites within property, FM or compliance environments
* Knowledge of building legislation, building fabric, services and property risk control principles
* Ability to review compliance audits, engineer reports and statutory certificates, identifying risks, non‑compliance and required actions
* Experience using building asset management systems (e.g. FSI Concept or similar) and maintaining accurate compliance data
* Strong IT, administrative and communication skills, including handling calls and managing contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
