Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse with a background in supporting people living with HIV to join London North West Healthcare (LNWH) HIV services.
This post is based in Hillingdon; however, the successful candidate will be required to undertake some clinical work within other locations served by LNWH, including Ealing Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital, and Patrick Clements Clinic.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of our HIV services and nurse-led clinics.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary HIV healthcare team to provide care to people living with HIV.
They will have the opportunity to contribute to and develop nurse-led HIV clinics and support the training of nurses seeking to start a career in HIV healthcare.
The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with various health and social care professionals to ensure patients receive holistic support, understand their condition, and make informed decisions about their care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: NMC registration, Post-registration qualification in HIV, Non-medical prescribing
* Desirable: Counselling skills
Experience and Knowledge
* Essential: 2 years post-registration experience within HIV healthcare, experience/knowledge of managing patients with adherence problems, up-to-date knowledge of HIV medication and treatments
* Desirable: Experience managing complex cases and liaising with health and social care professionals
