Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse at Pet Doctors Woking for Maternity Leave Cover – Up to £30,000 per annum DOE
We are a busy 24hr practice equipped with modern facilities including 2 theatres, a dental room with digital imaging, an endoscope/ultrasound room, and an X-Ray room. Our team comprises 6 FTE Vets, 2 P/T Vets, 6 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 2 PCAs, and experienced reception staff. We handle a wide variety of cases, providing great opportunities to develop your skills.
We are seeking a dedicated RVN to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Accommodation is available if needed.
The successful candidate will work in various areas such as consults, dispensary, operations, and in-patients. We can consider a role focused solely on consults or dispensary if preferred.
The Shift Times Include
7.45am – 7.15pm, 4 or 5 days a week, with 1:6 Saturdays and 1:6 Bank holidays.

The RVN Role Includes:
Active participation in the clinical support team.
Participation in the Nursing rota as directed by the Head Nurse.
Providing excellent client service and patient care.
Effective communication with colleagues.
Supporting Veterinary Surgeons within the practice.
Compliance with professional regulations, including RCVS standards.
Adherence to CVS H&S policies and relevant training.

To Be Considered For This Role:
RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Proven GP skills and surgery experience.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Clinical coaching experience or interest (preferred but not essential).
Strong focus on patient care.
Excellent communication and team skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.
Ability to balance work and study commitments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
