This is an incredible opportunity to join a growing and highly talented Business Intelligence team. You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining business-critical reporting systems across the Protein Works, including marketing, trading, operations, and finance. You should have a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and how to apply them using the Google Cloud Platform. A passion for data and its ability to improve business performance is essential.
Immediate Responsibilities
Managing and delivering end-to-end BI reporting projects, from initial brief/requirement gathering to data pipeline development (APIs/ETL/ELT/SQL) to visualization.
Undertaking ad hoc BI tasks based on business requirements and priorities.
Maintaining and enhancing the data quality, security, and performance of the Data Lake/Warehouse as part of the BI team.
Assisting Data Analysts in generating impactful business insights and analysis.
Supporting the Senior Data Engineer in managing the BI ticket system to ensure timely resolution of tasks.

Proven data engineering experience with an enterprise data warehouse platform.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with visualization tools such as Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI.

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform/Data Stack, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, IAM Management, Looker Data Studio.
Familiarity with statistical/machine learning/AI concepts.
Understanding of data pipeline/orchestration tools like dbt, dataform.
Appreciation of GCP’s serverless technologies such as Cloud Run/Workflows.
Understanding of Google’s marketing stack, including Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads, Search Console.
Experience with low-code/no-code data platforms like Retool, Hex.
