Job Overview
As a Night Porter at Heartwood Collection, you will assist in the safety and well‑being of our guests during overnight stays and maintain the smooth operation of the property outside key trading hours. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest care and ensuring that health and safety standards are met. You will also be responsible for the cleanliness of public areas and assist the Night Manager in ensuring guest safety and smooth overnight operations.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties and maintain property standards.
* Handle late check‑ins, early check‑outs, and reservation checks.
* Support night audits, including fire, health & safety, and security checks.
* Prepare for breakfast service and provide shift handovers.
* Follow emergency procedures, including fire evacuations.
Qualifications
* You are responsible, reliable, and have a keen eye for details.
* You are well‑organised and can learn systems and audits for overnight shifts.
* You can work independently when the Night Manager is off.
* 1-2 years of experience as a Night Porter or Auditor in a hotel or hospitality setting.
