The role
As an Internal Auditor, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to Phoenix by providing assurance and insight that informs the GIA discussion with Management and the Board regarding the effectiveness of the risk, governance, and control environment across the Group.
You will support the ongoing risk assessment of the business through the execution of audits, providing insights from business interactions, and validating Management’s actions. You will also support ad-hoc GIA projects focusing on continuous improvement. Establishing effective relationships with stakeholders across all three Lines of Defence, demonstrating trust, providing insight, and gaining consensus, will be key.
This role offers opportunities for personal and professional development and to contribute to the Group's strategy, vision, and social purpose.
We are a small team with a wide remit, offering significant learning and growth opportunities. You will be part of an audit team respected and trusted by the Board, providing an independent view of the business to influence positive outcomes. We foster a collaborative, high-performing, and diverse environment where development and success are prioritized.
