Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a School Based IT Technician located in Stratford. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Key tasks include maintaining IT systems, assisting school staff and students with technology-related queries, and delivering basic training on IT tools and applications. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with school stakeholders to identify and implement effective IT solutions.
Requirements
Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace for Education, and common applications
Experience with end-user devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones
Good understanding of networking, servers and virtualisation
Strong communication, organisation and troubleshooting skills
Ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and deliver great customer service
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support of hardware, software, and network systems
Knowledge and experience in Information Technology operations and management
Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to assist and communicate effectively with school staff and students
Experience in Training users on IT tools, applications, and processes
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with educational environments and systems is a plus
Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support and management (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft certifications) are an advantage
