Warehouse Operative AM (Rochdale, GB, OL16 4NR)

We are looking for processing operatives to join our team working on bacon and gammon product production lines. Working on our AM shift from 05:45 to 14:40, 40.83 hours per week.

Role purpose and responsibilities follow.
Area of responsibility
To ensure the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods, maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service. The Logistics Operative will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and contributing to the smooth running of the supply chain.
Specific Tasks
* Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries in line with company procedures.
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely and damage-free.
* Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks) safely and in compliance with training and licenses
Job Requirements
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Competent with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (desirable).
* Commitment to health & safety standards.
