Main duties of the job
The Ward Clerk is responsible for data entry of confidential information onto the computerised database. The data entry needs to be accurate so attention to detail is essential.
You will be responsible for the provision of a high-quality reception service by meeting and greeting visitors to the ward.
The successful candidate will also support the general running of the ward by being involved in general organisational and administrative activities.
You will update and maintain accurate complete patient data on the computer-based system (Lorenzo/Nervecentre) and medical records database (IFIT).
The post holder will enter and retrieve data from all current Trust computer systems in place (EPR, Lorenzo/Nervecentre) to acceptable data quality standards.
