Make an impact!This role involves leading the UK Accounts Payable and Credit Control team, focusing on process improvements and operational efficiencies. You will optimise the Group's working capital and identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.Responsibilities include:Leading and developing the UK Accounts Payable and Credit Control team, ensuring clear roles and performance reviewsOptimising DPO and DSO metrics by collaborating with Procurement and Site Coordinators to improve cash flow and reduce bad debtOverseeing invoice processing, employee expenses, and payments, balancing supplier terms with working capital needsManaging overdue reporting and dunning processes, including reporting to senior leadershipDeveloping and implementing a UK-wide credit policy and maintaining customer data and ledger accuracyCoordinating ledger postings, reconciliations, cash allocations, and credit notesWhat are we looking for?Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable in a large organisation (over £50m turnover)Line management experience, including team development and performance managementStrong SAP (FICO, SD, FSCM) and Excel skillsExperience in credit management, cash management, and process improvement (MCICM qualification preferred)Leadership skills with a proactive approachCommercial awareness and relationship-building skillsIntegrity, sound decision-making, and a drive for continuous improvementWe expect you to Be accountable, Drive results, Embrace change, and collaborate effectively.What's in it for you?Salary up to £55,000Annual bonusContributory pensionHybrid working (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Flexible benefits including discounts, gym memberships, cycle to work, and wellbeing supportReady to make a difference?
