We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Maintenance Engineer to join our data centre operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career to gain hands-on experience in a mission-critical environment, supporting the maintenance and reliability of key infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical equipment
* Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond to reactive maintenance tasks
* Conduct routine inspections and report on system performance and faults
* Work alongside senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and operational procedures
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Participate in shift rotations and on-call support if required
Requirements
* Relevant technical qualification (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering)
* Basic understanding of data centre infrastructure (or strong willingness to learn)
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
