The Role
As a Cyber Security Consultant – Public Sector & Defence, you will advise clients on cyber security, information assurance, risk management and secure technology delivery. You will work across complex ICT projects, helping organisations protect systems, manage information risk and embed security throughout the project lifecycle.
You will contribute to security strategies, assurance documentation, security architecture and risk treatment options. This is a client-facing consulting role where you will work with technical teams, risk owners and business stakeholders to explain security issues clearly and influence confident decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advise clients on cyber security and information assurance.
2. Assess information risks across systems, projects and programmes.
3. Support secure delivery of ICT and Agile programmes.
4. Develop and review security architecture and controls.
5. Produce assurance documentation aligned to risk frameworks.
6. Define security testing scope and remediation actions.
Requirements
Must-Have
7. Experience with complex ICT systems or technical consulting.
8. Strong understanding of enterprise technology and cyber security.
