Taking your care, passion, skills and experience in a new direction.
You’re a clinician who has gained valuable skills and experience people after a life changing illness or injury and understand how the right support and care can enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
You understand the importance of building connections and trust with multiple professionals, children, young people, adults and families and you act in a proactive, solution focused way using sound clinical reasoning in your actions. You’ll understand the clinical frameworks and pathways within the Manchester and North West region so that you can best support those clients in your area and you’ll have built a network of relied and trusted support services, therapists and advocacy programmes to enhance the care you provide.
And importantly, you value your clinical skills and experience as much as we do; knowing the difference you can make to people.
In your next step in your clinical care you’re committed to managing a case load of clients through their rehabilitation. You’ll lead on assessment in the home and their rehabilitation and goal setting. You’ll signpost and advocate for what they need, you’ll assess and monitor and you’ll know exactly what needs to be in place for the people you support to live a fulfilled life.; whether that be accessing services, reintroduction into their communities and social lives, accessing work or meaningful activity and so on. You’ll appreciate how much a catastrophic injury can change lives and the importance of creating safe, effective and enabling environments for injured people and their families.
You’ll join our network of specialist clinicians to support some of the most vulnerable children, young people and adults following life changing injuries such as Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injuries, complex orthopaedic injuries, amputation and limb loss, psychological injuries and more.
But you won’t do that alone. Becoming part of our associate case manager network within Manchester and the North West means you have support and you’re empowered to make a difference. You’ll have support and guidance in so many ways including administration, governance, safeguarding, CPD and training, quality assurance, marketing, finance and so much more. Things like an in-house service to support you with behaviour intervention, vocational rehabilitation and setting up packages of care, accompanying you to your first assessment in the clients home, enrolling you on our case management and clinical mentorship programme, providing tips and tricks on working within the medico-legal sector and being a listening ear when you need us is what we think makes us special.
We also know that in changing direction in your clinical career, you’ll have questions. You will have support from your dedicated clinical operations manager and access to a wealth of knowledge and experience within Bush & Co to access like forums and case guidance.
It’s not essential that you join our team as an associate full time; in fact still continuing to work clinically around your responsibilities as a case manager can be really valuable. All we ask is that you commit to 15 hours 15 hours during a working week. We also find it really beneficial to those you are supporting that you have five years’ clinical experience so you’re able to support a complex case load. You’ll also need to hold clinical registration with an appropriate clinical body (i.e. HCPC, NMC, SWE). Aside from that, we’ll provide training on the role.
