Binnies, part of the RSK Group, are looking for an experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southeast of England. We are looking for a new colleague who is recently Chartered with IOSH or APS, or who can demonstrate significant progress towards this goal. Becoming a key member of our Safety & Risk Team, working as part of our Flood, Coastal & Environmental Division you will have the opportunity to assist a valued and longstanding client deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects. Work will include discharging the duties of principal designer and CDM advisor on a varied portfolio of schemes. About the Role:
* You will join a team of Safety & Risk Consultants who work across the Southeast region
* You will work closely with clients and their designers, principal designers, contractors and principal contractors
* Projects will range from feasibility studies, through outline & detailed design and construction on site
* It will be important to ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental and health & safety requirements
Essential requirements:
* Chartered Safety Professional or the ability to demonstrate significant progress towards achieving this
* Relevant degree or diploma
* Good working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience
* Excellent report writing skills
* A proactive approach with an ambition to innovate
* The ability to work away from the office location for short periods
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent record keeping
