Overview
We are looking for a dedicated School Chef to join a vibrant school community in Margate. Location: Margate. Pay: £18 per hour. Hours: Term-time only, Monday to Friday (daytime hours).
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for students and staff
* Plan menus in line with dietary requirements and school guidelines
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
* Manage food stock and place orders as needed
* Work closely with kitchen assistants and school staff
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a chef or cook (school or catering experience preferred)
* A passion for food and nutrition
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A positive, can-do attitude and a love for working with children
