Maintenance Engineer Our client a lead manufacturing company who have been going from strength to strength over the past few years and have invested heavily in their staff and facilities and as such are now seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join their company. This role will be on nights, working hours for the role are: Mon - Thurs 6pm -4.30am, Friday 3.30pm - 21.15pm The successful candidate will receive: Attractive salary Career progression Opportunity to work on a wide range of projects A range of other employee benefits Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on machinery and production equipment. Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Assist with electrical installations and project work as required. Collaborate with the day shift engineering team to ensure smooth handovers and consistent engineering practices. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work using the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation and company policies. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Proven experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics. Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
