About The Role As Head of London Delivery you will have the skills and experience to fully develop the QA Apprenticeships Delivery team in the London region. You will have the ability and know-how to plan, resource and manage teaching, assessment and mentoring to retain apprentices and achieve maximum completions of the programme. You will be both client and learner focused, ensuring our training delivery and assessment standards are impeccable at every stage of the learner journey. Alongside compliance, Ofsted and awarding body knowledge, you will contribute to wider team projects. About The Person Report to the Operations Director and be a member of the Operations Senior Team, as well as the overall business's Senior Management Team Directly lead and manage all Delivery in the London region, comprising the delivery of IT and Business Skills training to apprentices, managing apprentice progression, and fulfilling the assessment of apprentices on programme Ensure that the regional team works effectively with employers to support apprentices successfully completing their full apprenticeship framework by their planned achievement date Lead a team of Tutors and Assessors, developing and motivating the team, along with individual and team capability to achieve ongoing success Manage a team of Regional Delivery Lead, Training Manager and Assessment Manager Direct Reports Drive performance to meet business performance targets, including (but not restricted to) Customer Satisfaction (NPI), Achievement rates, Quality standards, Average Utilisation rate, Average Case Load, and Employee Engagement Within Operations, be the single point of contact for the London region for stakeholders across the Operations group and wider business, and be the senior escalation point for customers Develop and leverage a successful working relationship with Sales and Account Management function for London, and develop a strong and effective working relationship with the Head of this function Manage the Delivery function to meet or better the Budget Run management processes that facilitate appropriate business forecasting and to enable key decisions to support the business Hold leadership responsibility for one or more "organizational horizontals" across Operations in total in order to drive and contribute to shared priorities and standardisation across the group Be a visible, impactful and effective leader at site level, also managing matters relating to the site itself and liaising with other functions (such as Real Estate) as required to operate an appropriate environment for customers and employees Ensure practices support and enable Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity Make a significant contribution to the Operating Principles in QA Apprenticeships and Operations Adhere to all Company policies, including, but not limited to Health and Safety policy, IT User policy and Anti-Bribery policy. Perform any additional tasks that are assigned by the role's line manager or a senior member of staff. Your Skills & Experience Higher Level Apprenticeship or Degree level preferred Experience directly in the Learning environment would be a strong advantage Large team management, organisational development, and motivational leadership At a minimum, an appreciation of the subjects covered in IT, Business Skills and Project Management Excellent communications skills: in-person, verbal, written and presentation Strong influencing ability, particularly across the wider organisation's matrix Well-developed organisational skills, preferably with notable experience from an Operations and/or Customer Service environment Good commercial acumen Detail-oriented Excellent multitasking skills Tenacious and strong will to succeed
