Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have years experience and qualifications in the trade.
Monday to Friday 7am-4.30pm with early finish on a Friday
Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanic
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and management effectively.
* A relevant qualification in mechanics advantageous but not essential.
* MOT tester (not essential)
* Must have own tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £36,000.00-£39,794.00 per year
