Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to service users in the comfort of their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both service users and staff.
Duties
* Assist service users with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support service users in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each service users needs, ensuring that all requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in conditions to senior staff.
* Communicate effectively with service users, families, and team members to foster a supportive environment.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices.
Requirements
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a team, demonstrating empathy and patience at all times.
