Electrical Maintenance Engineer

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in various client sites.

You will work on a range of tasks including fault finding, reactive and planned maintenance, and minor installation works, all with an electrical bias.

Your goal will be to deliver high-quality electrical and building services maintenance across a variety of clients.

You will be part of a multi-skilled team working on a range of building services tasks including HVAC, mechanical, and fabric-related works.


Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out electrical PPM, proactive, and reactive maintenance tasks as issued via the helpdesk, ensuring all work is completed within required timeframes and to high standards.
* Support wider building services tasks, including HVAC, mechanical, and fabric-related works, as part of a multi-skilled maintenance approach.
* Participate in the on-call rota, providing emergency response as required by the client contract.
* Oversee and monitor contractor activity on-site, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards; issue Permits to Work as necessary.
* Ensure all electrical systems and components perform in line with operational specifications and compliance requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of plant rooms and associated areas to agreed company standards.
* Deliver a professional and customer-focused service, representing the company positively and contributing to high levels of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a background in FM or commercial building services and possess a City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 or NVQ 2356 / 2357 or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation qualification. Strong experience in reactive and PPM building maintenance is essential.

A strong understanding of 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) is also required. If you are a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional results, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
