Territory Manager – Branded Outerwear Apparel
£35-45,000 Basic, Bonus, Company Van + Excellent Benefits
Our client enjoys an enviable position in the branded apparel market, serving a whole range of retailers from fashion, to outdoor stores, to department stores and garden centres. The products are intelligently marketed to cater for a specific market niche, and are leaders in this niche and also generally within the category. The continuing success of the brand and of the company is assured.
They have a vacancy for a Territory Manager to cover primarily the South West region and there is a preference for candidates who live central to the patch ie the triangle formed by joining Gloucester to Exeter to Southampton and back to Gloucester. Sales on the area are already well established, however there is considerable scope to increase sales which would of course be reflected ultimately in your bonus. We have been retained to identify and recruit an outstanding individual from the fashion or related sector to manage and grow business on this sales territory.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should ideally have a background in branded apparel, clothing or accessories or similar and have experience of selling into at least one of the channels ie independent fashion stores, boutiques, department stores or garden centres. You will need to be an accomplished salesperson with an ability to open new accounts as well as closely manage and monitor existing accounts to ensure best practice and to help the retailers to achieve optimum return on their investment.
