Job Description:
Overview
The WMS Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for warehouse management systems (WMS) and related applications. The role involves working with end users, vendors, and internal teams to ensure optimal performance of WMS and related applications.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Supporting existing Warehouse Services during Service Standard Hours (09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding English Public Holidays) and undertaking on-call duties to provide P1 and P2 Incident Management Support during extended hours (17:01 to 08:59, including public holidays).
* Providing first and second level support for WMS and applications such as Aptean HDX, Langdon DMS.
* Responding to user requests and issues.
* Diagnosing and resolving technical problems related to configuration, connectivity, integration, performance, and security.
* Escalating complex issues to third level support or vendors.
* Documenting support procedures, updating knowledge base articles, and user guides.
* Monitoring and maintaining the health and availability of WMS and related applications.
* Performing routine maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, patches, and audits.
* Testing and validating new features, enhancements, and fixes.
* Training and assisting end users.
* Deploying new or changed Warehouse Application Services in line with Change Requests and project timelines, which may require working extended hours.
* Participating in Service Improvement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
* At least two years of experience supporting WMS and related applications, ideally in a warehouse or distribution environment.
* Strong knowledge of WMS and applications like Manhattan, Oracle.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to WMS.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
