Juniper Training is looking for a motivated and learner-focused Maths & Employability Tutor to join our Wednesbury team. This full-time dual role combines the delivery of Functional Skills and GCSE Maths with employability training, helping learners build confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress into work or apprenticeships.
🌟 About the Role
As a full-time Maths & Employability Tutor, you will:
* Deliver Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level to Level 2) and GCSE Maths
* Plan and deliver engaging employability sessions, including CV writing, interview skills, job search, and workplace behaviours
* Differentiate teaching to meet individual learner needs, including those with additional support requirements
* Assess learner progress, provide feedback, and support learners to achieve qualifications
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners reach their full potential
👀 What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
* Experience delivering Functional Skills and/or GCSE Maths
* Experience delivering employability skills or vocational/work-based learning
* A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
* Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills
* A supportive, inclusive, and motivating teaching approach
Experience with young people, adults, or learners with SEND is highly desirable.
