Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Registered Bank Nurse. A current NMC pin is essential for this role.
This role is based at Rutland Care Village, located in Oakham, Leicestershire. The Care Village is designed to meet the needs of 82 residents across four buildings. Our residents often live with age-related health conditions, physical disabilities, and mental health issues that require respectful and dignified support from our caring team. Many residents also live with Dementia and may need one-to-one personal support to maintain their independence. Candidates should be patient, understanding, and respectful of each resident's individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Registered Bank Nurse include:
1. Accurately completing nursing notes
2. Assisting with the safe ordering, custody, storage, and administration of medication
3. Ensuring Care Plans and records are current, evaluated, and accurate
4. Managing tasks on the clinical calendar
5. Visiting residents daily to assess needs and improve care
6. Complying with the NMC Code of Conduct
7. Respecting residents’ dignity and independence regardless of their physical or mental abilities
8. Leading daily handovers with care staff and nurses
9. Participating in daily meetings and sharing information
10. Performing other duties as requested by management to meet business needs
What we’re looking for in our Registered Nurse:
Successful candidates will have a caring nature and a desire to make a difference. A valid Nursing Pin and some post-qualification clinical experience are required. Our residents typically live with age-related conditions, health issues, and disabilities requiring respectful support. Patience, understanding, and respect for individual abilities are essential.
