What We're Looking For A PGCE in Secondary Education (Music or a related specialism). Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable. Strong subject knowledge across a wide range of musical styles, traditions and technologies. Confidence in delivering practical, theoretical and performance-based lessons. Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills. A commitment to safeguarding and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across KS3 and KS4. Prepare students for GCSE Music, including performance, composition and listening components. Develop enrichment opportunities such as choirs, ensembles, or instrumental clubs. Support school concerts, productions, and community events.
