About the role: Working to Head of ICT and as part of a small, collaborative team, your primary responsibility is to support the delivery of the organisation's ICT support services. This role is predominantly 1 st and 2 nd line support working hands-on and hands-off. It also includes desktop support, server support and general infrastructure. Project work from time to time might include server upgrades, cloud based digital transformation, WIFI, router and switch upgrades. Key responsibilities: Implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a methodical approach to resolving complex issues. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure. Oversea/lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices, both in-house and with our MSP. Monitor and manage system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Collaborate with other MSP IT teams to support business operations and projects. Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including diagrams and procedures. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and innovations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
