Job Description
Responsibilities
• Conducting new vessel testing & sea trials utilising an online portal.
• Carrying out and demonstrating pre-defined USV tests to ensure that the vessel
meets all operational criteria/specifications.
• Reporting on testing and trials progress to line manager.
• Expanding testing programmes and defining additional tests as required
• Carrying out quality control checks and resolving snagging issues.
• Detailed record-keeping and reporting.
• Working with clients to help with the integration of new systems and ensuring
that all requirements are met.
• Carrying out technical work and managing the vessel’s maintenance schedule.
• Hands-on involvement in vessel builds and pack-up during mobilisation phases.
• Piloting the USV from either onboard or line-of-sight control positions.
• Remotely piloting the USV from a Local Operations Centre (LOC).
• Assisting with writing vessel procedures and technical documents.
Requirements
Minimum of Yachtmaster 200GT & STCW95.
Strong mechanical skills, are competent in IT and have basic competency in
electronics.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, and ability to collaborate
effectively in a team.
