Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fee Earner (MOJ) to join our dynamic Fast Track Bike team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and progressing client cases, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with legal regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about law and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for a high-volume caseload of RTA MOJ Portal claims, following the MOJ process and best practise, in order to progress your claims from inception through to settlement. .
2. Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court submissions.
3. Assess quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching/obtaining relevant case law
4. Conduct thorough research to support case preparation and strategy development.
5. Run litigated cases under Part 8B of the Civil Procedure Rules
6. Liaise with clients, ensuring they are informed about their case progress and any necessary actions.
7. Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of comprehensive legal services.
9. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide informed advice.
Essential Skills/Experience
10. Previous experience of managing your own caseload of Fast Track RTA Claims up to the value of £25,000.
11. Working knowledge of the pre-action protocol for low value personal injury claims in RTAs.
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
13. Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software is advantageous.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.
