Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) Manager
Irwin and Colton are pleased to have been engaged by an industry-leading FM organisation that is looking to appoint a QSHE Manager to lead health and safety programs at a major site in Surrey. The role involves overseeing QHSE compliance across various departments and staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing health and safety team, aiming to foster positive change and work within a professional, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities of the QSHE Manager include:
1. Engaging with stakeholders to enhance safety culture among staff, subcontractors, and site operatives.
2. Maintaining high standards of supplier performance and developing safety management systems aligned with best practices.
3. Analyzing risks in the working environment and implementing measures to mitigate them.
4. Ensuring contractor compliance with legislation and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of a professional body.
* Experience in the built environment, preferably within facilities management (Hard FM).
* Proven ability to influence and liaise with subcontractors to promote safety and compliance.
* Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001).
* Experience in the life sciences or R&D sectors is advantageous.
